General questions

All bikes are equipped with bottle holder, spare tube, patch kit, tire levers and pump. Flat pedals are included in rental and SPD or LOOK pedals can be provided (extra cost).
Aluminium road and hybrid bikes have option for rear rack (for panniers) and the rack does not increase price of rental. Carbon bikes do not have option for mounting rear racks.
Helmets and water bottles are not included in rental price but can be rented additionally.

Helmets are not obligatory to wear in Croatia. However, we highly recommend wearing one – besides safety protection it also help with sun during hot summer and spring days.
We rent helmets, they have CE-EN 1078 safety standard and come in different sizes: child, small/medium(52-58) and medium/large (58-62).

Please see our bike rental page for details regarding prices. Prices shown are per day and the daily price lowers as the number of rental days increases. We do provide discounts for groups and tour companies.

Our main base is located in Split where bikes can be picked up and returned to. We do offer delivery(and pick up) service for a fee, which we determinate by the distance from our office to desired location.

Can I rent a bike in Dubrovnik and return it in Split(or other way around). Yes! We will deliver the bike(s) to Dubrovnik and we can even take your luggage, so it will wait for you when you come back to Split to return the bikes.

Please check out or working hours page. On Sundays and holidays we try to make arrangements to confirm the exact time when you can pick up/drop off the bikes

Our aluminium road, hybrid and tandem bikes have rear rack which can accept different kind of panniers. You are welcome to bring your own panniers (or rent from us). You can leave luggage with us in the shop. For children we offer tag along, child seats and stroller. Other bike accessories we provide are GPS units, we sell water bottles, different kind of pedals. We even can rent you van fully equipped to support bike tour

No. But we highly suggest doing it so you can get proper frame size. Most of our bikes are rented out in May, June, September and October. “last minute” bookings are fine with us but we cannot guarantee availably.

Please note we cannot create and suggest your cycling holiday. You can check out our guided and self guided tours at www.meridienten.com website and eventually book a tour instead of bike rental. However we will give some helpful advices always…

Our bikes always come equipped with pump, spare tube, puncture repair kid and tire levers. For longer rental periods we can include few spare tubes.

Our bikes are delivered to you in perfect mechanical condition. Upon bike pick up you do the test ride and make sure this is true in reality. In case of any mechanical issue during your rental we will help and support: suggest or call bike repair shop or provide this service ourselves. Repair will be paid directly by the guest directly on the spot. If the mechanical issue happened due to failure of bike mechanisms, we will cover repair shop.

30 to 15 days prior to rental service start – Meridien Ten keeps 10% of total rental service cost 15 -0 days prior rental service start – Meridien Ten keeps the deposit in full amount. Please note, rental service includes: bike & accessories rental costs, delivery and pick up costs. No refunds are possible after the rental service begins. Insurance, damages and thefts of the bikes Bikes are not insured against theft or damage. It is possible to buy insurance in the amount of EUR 20,00 per bike and it covers 100% of cost of repairs in the case of minor damage to bike or damage or loss of accessories. In the case of damage due to inappropriate handling, theft or loss of the bicycle, Meridien Ten will issue the invoice according to the price list. This cost will be charged within 7 days from the day damage has been done.

We do have different size panniers, but most of them are between 10-15 litres. We can confirm the pannier size once we know your needs and luggage.

At the moment we do not have any channels to connect foreign riders to ride together and there are no so called “social” rides happening at exact dates. You might be able to ride with one of our guides for a certain fee.

No. We will be happy to keep your luggage. If you are doing one way rental we can take your luggage and keep it in our office, so you pick it up upon your return.

Our shop is located about 2 -2.5 km outside the city centre. If you are walking it will take you about 10-15 minutes
